Volunteers for the PTC's annual conference play a valuable role as an extension of PTC staff. PTC volunteers offer our attendees personal dimension at a conference filled with professionals, industry, academia and government persons. If you are considering in volunteering, we hope the following information helps you find the opportunity you are looking for. Volunteers are needed to do just about anything from logistics to security. Time commitments can range from a few hours for a single project to as much time as you have available (however, a minimum of 20 hours is needed per student in order to receive benefits). Try something new. Learn new skills and meet new people. Volunteers are the people who make the Pacific Telecommunication Council (PTC) conferences happen, supporting every delegate, staff and visitor for the most exclusive telecommunications event in the Asia-Pacific rim. The Volunteer Program has been associated with all 27 previous PTC conferences and has become an integral part of running each one. Participate in PTC's 28th annual conference, with its theme, "Shift Happens: Transition to IP", by signing up today. Every volunteer - local, national, or global - will benefit from this event and will contribute to the success of the conference. Read the Volunteers' FAQ page for requirements and preparation.
