Mahalo (thank you) to all of our attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors of PTC’06 for your support and participation in the 28th consecutive PTC annual conference. With 928 registrants from 57 countries, PTC’06 was a resounding success. Though initially somewhat controversial, our theme “Shift Happens: Transition to IP” proved to be entirely appropriate as our program theme. A broad range of sessions illuminated current thinking, challenges, and opportunities facing the many faceted ICT industries that are represented at PTC conferences. With roughly 50% of our attendees coming from North America and the other 50% from Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Oceania, and other parts of the world, our centralized “East-meets-West” venue in Hawaii was an ideal location for our very international meeting.

Many thanks also to everyone who shared suggestions for making PTC’07 even more dynamic and success. You will be seeing many changes in the 2007 conference that will allow for greater conference session participation; a more vibrant exhibit area; and private conferencing facilities designed to maximize the business networking that is a critical part of our event.

We look forward to seeing you at PTC’07; 14-17 January 2007; Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Best regards,

Stephen G. Tom
